I first came across SINAR cameras when I started assisting and was in awe at the precision of the Sinar p1. The first SINAR I actually purchased for myself was the Sinar f2 when I was 23 years old. I still have this camera to this day and it works like new after 20+ years.
There is no substitute for a SINAR camera which is why I have used one my entire career. From 8x10 and 5x4 film to the Sinarback 23, 23HR, Macroscan, 44, 54, 75H to my current 86H digital back, I've been using them for many years. Now my Sinar p3 system is the backbone to my studio set up.
